 Meet Happy Meadows Farm – home of mini fluffy cows! Bennye Saginario, the human face behind the farm, shares her story of how it came to be...

Bennye began farming in 2018 and was always drawn to nature, animals, and peaceful environments. Having always loved cows, she decided to make her dream a reality. She was able to move into a house with small acreage and fill her heart & farm with mini fluffy pet cows. 

Her day now begins at 7:30AM and ends after midnight caring for her cows and two golden retrievers who help babysit the calves. One particular cow that stands out to her is Champ – he was a sick calf who overcame all the odds and has now grown up to be the spunkiest, silliest, happiest little guy living life to the fullest. 

Moments with her cows make farming worth it despite challenges such as weather conditions including scorching heat, hail, high humidity, or even hurricanes. Regardless of mother nature's  setbacks, nothing beats the joy of raising calves. Bennye finds it to be the most rewarding part of farming and treats them as beloved members of the family.

 Her advice to other farmers is "Farming is a labor of love. If you want to get into it for any other reason…don’t, you’ll just be disappointed.”
